When I arrived in Queenswood, I first had problems getting used to the daily routine, which is connected with strict rules. But after a while I became familiar with the these circumstances.
Definitley one positive experience was, that I got to know people from all over the world. Hopefully I will stay in contact with them after we leave Queenswood.
Also the atmosphere during the lessons was friendly and pleasant, because the communication between students and teachers worked very well. Hence I learned a lot and improved my English skills.
But anyhow I am looking forward to going home, because I desire my comfortable bed, my low-fat food and of course sunny weather.
All in all is was a great time, which I will never forget.

The Tate Modern and the Globe theatre
Yesterday we went on an excursion to visit the Globe theatre and the Tate Modern in London.
Although the globe theatre is a reproduction of the real Shakespearean theatre, it was very impressive to watch, because you can feel the old athmoshere and can envisage how shakespeare performed his plays on stage.
Later we went to the Tate Modern, which is a gallery for futuristic and surrealistic art. Pictures from famous painters like Picasso, Andy Warhol or Paul Klee were exhibited.
But I especially liked the pictures of the French artist and Post-Impressionist painter Paul Cezanne.

my first week at Queenswood
On Monday we started with our lessons here in Queenswood. It's really fun together with the other students in class. The lessons start at 09.15 in the morning and end in the afternoon. In the evening we have the opportunity to do some activities like tennis, badminton or swimming.
But today there will be no activities, because we will go to the the bowling centre or to the cinema. I decide to play bowling. Hopefully it's going to be a lot of fun.
Also a special thing here at Queenswood is the workshop-class. At our workshop groups we are going to design a newspaper. In this newspaper we will write about sportnews and celebritynews. I am responsible for the news here at Queenswood. So I am going to interview some students and report about their positive an negative experiences.
